github.comは安全ですか？

none of the programs on here are real programs. Not a single download from github has an exe. You need to go elsewhere to download what you are looking for. This website only includes a bunch of unknown file formats in the downloaded zip. Stuff of no use.

There might be some app repositories trying to impersonate some legit apps which makes it dangerous for users if they are not experienced enough. (For example bitcoin wallet apps) So users must be experienced enough to check the code and make sure the app is safe or notice the popularity of the project.

Private repositories require a paid subscription. This is a site where users can submit their own content, which might not be virus-free, suitable for young children or your boss.
