I've received a number of unwanted spam from this site. Seems the only positives are from people with few entries - not saying they are shills; but it always is suspicious.

Email service with way too many ads. Questionable privacy policy. Low on security features. Other than that the email service is good, a bit too complicated on the UX design and steep learning curve.

I've had several email accounts there and never received spam or unsolicited emails from the GMX service itself. Great site for when you don't have a home isp webmail account. Much easier, faster with a beautiful interface than say Gmail. It even provides some basic level Cloud storage for files. I highly recommend it.
