Someone on this site has been racist towards me. Of course i fighted back, Telling him to P*** off, But thats no excuse when racism is put towards me. I decided to report this. The moderated banned ME for "Bullying against terms" and according to freinds, He was not banned and only got a warning in the center of the screen. His language involved much more the P Off. This is just bad. The modererators just do not care.

This is NOT A GAME. Its an interactive social networking mini-world. Based in a hotel, each user has unlimited amount of rooms, and Sulake (the makers of the game) earn there revenue through sponserships, and 'credits' in game users use to buy furniture and VIP membership. This site is monitored by moderators, however, action is only usually taken when reported. A large proportion of the users are nice and friendly, however, there are sometimes the odd few who ruin it.. Please be cautious when using this site, and make sure you report any misbehaivour you spot.

Let's clarify something first. This site is not a game. For the parent's wanting to find out more about this site, it's more of a meeting place for teens to chat about whatever they like. Be cautious though, this IS an internet site. Vulgar language and content not really suitable for a younger generation is the common behaviour from the users of the site. Kids and teens are careless and give too many private details away. The site is apparently monitored by moderators but I am yet to see any take action on mis-appropriate behaviour. Scams are common and teens often fall prey to them. Be aware of this. It's just another internet site in conclusion, just take the same precautionary steps as you would do with any other site that you let your children browse.

While this site appears pretty safe for children, be aware that it appears easy for other users to steal items bought with real money. The site policys also state they wont refund or replace if this happens. Be aware of this if you pay for your childs items or subscription and warn them in advance to avoid future heartache! Be very aware of security when making payments to this site. In addition, there is a slight "gang culture" eliment to the site which while not an apparent problem, may not be to the taste of everyone.

its a good game fun to play the longer u play the beter it gets i think u do get some people that try to spoil it

This game is excellent for children from (12-17 years old). However, there has quite a lot of cyber bullying which Habbo Hotel is addressing. There have also been reports of hacking. On the whole, its a good game but personal information must not be given out.
