I'm sure this website is fine for Christians who want to learn Hebrew, BUT, Jews translate many words in the Hebrew scriptures very differently than Christians do. Where Christians maintain that "alma" means "virgin," as the supposed phrase "and he shall be born of a virgin" (a pagan idea), the actual word for "virgin" is "betulah." "Alma means "young marriageable woman." Secondly, this website comes up almost always first in a Google search for more information on some aspect of Judaism. It is Jews who know Judaism. Let Christians speak for, and teach Christianity, not Judaism. If they wish to learn Hebrew as a second language, that's commendable. BUT, they should not be teaching Judaism to anyone. They're not rabbis. It takes years and years to be suitable to teach someone Judaism. It's far more complex than Christianity and the debates have been going on for 3,200 years. We ask questions more than we issue dogma. I highly discourage any Jew from using this website for any reason.
