If they stole technology from Malwarebytes, everyone has the choice to not use their software. They also have created software which they did not steal from other companies, such as smart defrag. If they did steal it, they certainly made a better job of putting it together than Malwarebytes. I tried Malwarebytes and did not like it.

THEY DID NOT STEAL IT! INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY! Or have you forgotten the justice system? What you people saying is defamation, so be quiet. If they are guilty of it, then so be it. Until then, they are innocent. stop gossiping and spreading bad news about a company that has excellent products and has NOT stolen anything!

So IObit has stolen technology from MBAM? Do you REALLY believe this? You must be kidding. My opinion: Malwarebytes' is spreading false accusations and slanderous anti-propaganda because they are losing customers and credibility in favour of IObit Security 360, a much faster, complete and more reliable scanner than MBAM. Instead of just swallowing everything that's been told to you without even thinking whether it's true or not, you should better be more sceptic. Investigate and discover the truth: 2 Anti-malware rivals bashing upon each other, and MBAM has, obvious, a better reputation because IObit Security 360 is a brand new product that is still unknown (thus unwanted) by many geeks. So perhaps it's time to stop being ignorant. Discover the truth behind this flame-war yourself and write your verdict AFTER you found out what's really going on. Envy of MBAM. After testing, IObit 360 indeed scores a lot better: faster scanning, less false positives and much higher detection rate. It seems that a lot of self-deceivers are trapped into the MBAM story. ....and I am not paid to spread positive propaganda, I'm just a satisfied customer, also professional ICT-expert for more than 15 years now, specialised in datacommunication. A comment however, is never objective, but it helps to think first before judging.

To all those slamming this site. Only one piece of software is of questionable legitimacy on this site, and there's no clear evidence (as far as I can tell), making them guilty. Coupled with the fact that Malwarebytes handled the situation appallingly badly, I think crucifying them whilst the jury is still out is poor judgement.
