Good search engine, usually a potentially unwanted program though.

AVG search is the search engine powered by Google of the AVG anti-virus but its not very good and i prefer Google, and every body can use it.

AVG s'est affiché et imposé sur ma page d'accueil lorsque j'ouvre une deuxième page. J'ai essayé tous les conseils trouvés sur les forum via google(y compris la démarche propre d'avg), impossible de supprimer avg. Je trouve ces procédés douteux et inacceptables.

Really clever, those user strings. better prediction engine than google.

Browser hijack by a "security" company. Their own uninstallers don't remove it. Difficult to remove this spyware from browsers.

Many have issues with removing the tool bar. AVG Technologies AVG Security Toolbar is included in the company's latest range of security software, as a standalone application, and as a third party offer. Try ***** or ***** for information on tool bar removal.

Never had a problem with the site but I agree with everyone, if I wanted AVG, I would have downloaded it myself. I also tried to get rid of it too. It changed the way I surf now, something is different. I don't know what it is... maybe it's just because I'm being forced to look at that AVG logo, I don't know. :(

Гадость редкостная, зацепил эту ерунду, перестало Адблок плюс работать, все мои постоянные закладки похерились, вместо них, без спросу этот АВГ стал стартовой страницей... Удалил его из фирефокс и установке удалению программ, а он всё равно откудато вылез и опять мне работы на пол часа задал... Я зол!!!

I downloaded this with a program, and even though I completely removed the toolbar, it STILL hijacks my browser. All searches go to this. v_v But AVG is still a good, reliable, trustworthy company.
