I have never received any spam from this site. On the other hand, I have never used the site for a recruiting tool or was offered a job based on my profile on the site. I have used it to get to know about the experience and job history of the people I am working with virtually.

A friend added me to her list, I never wanted to join or sent any information to them. Now I average 5 to 10 emails a month that I send to Check Point to take care of. Don't believe there is a way to get away from these data base hounds. BAD NEWS

Indespensible tool for business. Very fine control of which emails you want to receive from them and when. I used my LinkedIN profile and updates as key component of getting my last startup ***** off the ground. Definitely recommend it.
