Don't trust the two week package. They will charge right after claiming is an auto renewal service, how would go for a two auto renewal if the month or annual packages are available. They will send you then a long nonsense email that really doesn't help anyway. Look out people

I was used this website in 20th October 2022 for my resume building and it was only for 199 INR for 14 days validity after that I cancelled my subscription. After again they (LIVEAREER.CO.UK ) deducted 399 INR from my account. When I have seen the notification from my bank I cancelled the LIVEAREER.CO.UK and I received the cancellation and confirmation mail including cancellation number I received from LIVEAREER.CO.UK email account but few days later (24th November 2022) they repeated the same things. When I contacted their online assistance and that person not give me a proper solution of this problem , Whoever is reading this review, believe me, you will be disappointed with their service. There is no customer service. They will not accept their fault. Please care full guys

Such a Scam Business. I cancelled my subscription several times, but the system does not stop billing me and continues to do so. They charged me for the first time on November 5, 2022. When I told them there was a technical problem, they refused to accept it and assured me that I would not be charged again. They have now charged me again on November 8, 2022. After conducting some investigation, I discovered that this firm is also defrauding other clients. Whoever is reading this review, believe me, you will be disappointed with their service. There is no customer service. They will not accept their fault. Stay away from this company.

All seemed well on the initial engagement. Fairly easy to use, looked ok, minor adjustments here and there- the wrong format but I could it edit myself. I then logged back into finish it after hours of work on a resume/CV and cover letter. They were nowhere to be found. I then was charged again but still no documents. I contacted their live chat and was told I had full access yet they specifically said in their agreement the documents would be available when I logged back in, nothing. Then I got charged again. I contacted them trying to cancel the subscription and the live chat 'service' was horrific. Firstly, I never authorised any further payments but they had saved my bank details. Then I was told I couldn't get a refund as their money-back guarantee only applied for the first 14 days during their trial. When I told them I didn't have access to the documents as they stated they said it was because I cancelled the account just now. I had already taken a video of the platform prior to the cancellation where no documents were there after investing not only my money but hours of time into the Resume/CV and cover letter. Do yourself a favour ask a friend, or use another platform, they'll steal your money and provide you with nothing in return.

I used this page 4 years ago (2016) to create a resume cause it said it was free. at the end of the process they asked me to pay $1.95 which I thought was disappointing but still paid it since I didn't want to waste my time. Turns out today March 24 2020 I am reviewing my bank statement and started to see this recurring payment that I thought it was for something else, but since it had a phone number next to the name in the statement I gave it a try and called. I asked them to return my money. They sent me a letter saying they will return only three months now while they process the rest. how can we report this and where? I never had this situation before. I have found the site to be very helpful. I have been using it for years... when it was known as Quintcareers. Always found their information to be very helpful, particularly in regards to cover letters and interview tips. Website took my credit card details and used them without my consent. Its a carefully engineered scam by James Freundlich to rob peoples money. Basically $1.95 to download resume automatically enrolls customer into a subscription without their active consent and never sends receipts or reminds the consumer. Absoluteltly disgusting business practice and James Freundlich should be ashamed of himself.

I found out the ONLY WAY you can get a copy of your "free" resume from these folks is to DOWNLOAD it as a plain, unformatted text document (.txt) . While this satisfies the "free" requirement of their advertising, anything useful must be bought at what I feel are fairly exorbitant prices, especially for the unemployed. What is worse is, if you pay anything, even the "low introductory rate" for the 14 day trial, it is no trial, as they will auto renew your subscription at $10 a week!!! This also leads to questions of how effective their cancelling policy is. I would look elsewhere, and I surely wouldn't want a child looking for their first work experience to go here, and start his working life with such a bad experience.

I just want to use the site once to build my resume. I did know I will be charged $1.95 for trial. That is fin. BUT after 1 month I found out they charged me $39.98 automatically. However, I cancel the account on the same day when I found out the truth. But they do not let me get refund. They claimed that I have been used their service for 1 month. They charged $9 something for one week. Oh really, then why they don't charge weekly but monthly? They actually know customer will not notice their sneaky statement for the trail but fraud customers money. If you want to try this site remember to cancel their service at the same day. Really, who will use resume builder for whole month. Just another way to fraud ppl money. Tip for consumers: If you want to charge people automatically please send them reminder asking if they want to pay for the service.

livecareer.com is a disgusting company, that believes $40 a month for a resume and cover letter ‘helper’ is an appropriate charge. They are the company everyone fears, for they wheel you in with no mention of cash. After you build the resume, all of a sudden it is two dollars for a two week trial. Ok, not so bad, two dollars to download a decent resume. But if you don’t cancel what is called a TWO WEEK TRIAL, all of a sudden it gets shoved into a full subscription. $40 a month. Do you get customer service? No, you get to call some out of country center, where they read scripts in bad English. Do you get help from writers for FORTY DOLLARS A MONTH? No, that is an extra charge. If you were smart enough to look up the companies rating before dealing with them, congrats. Don’t be retarded like I was, by thinking they won’t screw you in the fine print.
