Spam email with spying web beacons. Spam email, transmitted via IP ***** in Germany, promotes a payday loan scam or ripoff in the USA. The email is coded to automatically report the recipient's identity and IP address to a 'spyware collection box' at ***** when the email is opened, without the recipient's knowledge or permission. Profiles of these data may be used for additional spam or scams or identity theft. Children's identities may be especially at risk.
The email contains URLs to a spam stooge site that follow this chain of redirection to the advertising client.
