Unfortunately, there is a particular moderator who bans people if its not to his liking and only wants sheeple to be in the group or those who agree with him. Anyone who stands up to him, then falls under his banning process with no appeal. This ruins positive conversations and a disgrace to those who want an open minded discussion.

Manxforums can be the answer to everything you want to know about the Isle of Man, but like most things, there's people who write comments to upset others dependant on their mood. Basically, you take the rough with the smooth, expect comments from both sides of the field, or in other words, expect good and bad viewpoints. The site isn't restricted to those who live in the island and confrontations and oneupmanship occurs on a daily basis. Ask the right questions and you should get a civil reply, but if you meet a troll, expect an unhelpful reply.
