Good for downloads, but without pro (or AdBlock) it's an ad and pop-up ridden mess. Everytime I click on the window a pop-up appears!

Almost anything I download comes with an extra virus. avast! pops up almost every download and tells me that this site tried to infect me. The file itself is usually safe, but mediafire often tries to attack you via pop-ups or silent downloads.

The new capcha system is a disaster. It works about 50% of the time and the other 50% of the time it wants you to sit through some 30 second spam video that I never did get a capcha response from. Made no sense at all. The only consistency in the capcha is when you click on it it pops up at least two windows that usually disappear immediately, making me highly suspicious of what it's doing. I'd HIGHLY recommend that legitimate site owners find another place to distribute files and that site users run the other way when redirected here.

The website is a good file-sharing service, however the excessive ads and pop-ups are ridiculous. Some of these advertisements also appear bypass extensions that block them.
