This website is safe overall. Although, beware if you are using Internet Explorer. I was over at a friends house and I was playing Meez with internet explorer and it redirected me to one of those rouge virus sites. (But it's not the website's fault) Otherwise, great and safe website.

Ok, overall, this site is good. I'm a member of Meez, and it's been on the yellowish-green rating for me. One thing, I would really recommend that you get Firefox 3.6 for this site because with Internet Explorer, you will get redirected somewhere sometimes, pop-ups will show occasionally, and it will sometimes try to automatically reload the page to a different site. And sometimes, people will say bad/nasty words that may hurt others feelings, but most are nice. Also, be careful with the games; a fake antivirus or a pop-up could pop up at any time and it may redirect you somewhere too. The Meezmaker is another thing to worry about too; I hear that sometimes malware disguised as a antivirus scanner will pop-up too. Please be cautious when using this site!!

I actually really liked the website until I got redirected to a malicious website after playing one of the games hosted on the site. Thinking that it was possibly an in-game link that the admins were unaware of, I contacted them with the following: "I was playing a game on your site (Jane's Hotel Hero) when suddenly the page changed to another website which tried to install spyware onto my computer. I don't know what triggered it, but I was linked from this website. I take good care of my computer and am certain that I didn't have a prior malware program on my computer. I believe my anti-virus blocked the program from embedding itself on my computer, but others may not be so lucky. I don't think that your website would encode a link intentionally, but I do not think I will be visiting this site for the safety of my computer. This is a virus that affects SWF´s (flash files, such as in a flash game such as Restaurant City). To remove the warning message the virus must be removed from your computer, you can do so by following this link: [LINK REMOVED FOR SAFETY CONCERNS] Regards, Roscoe" Not only did this not address my problem (I did a virus scan today with AVG and it came up completely clean), but the spyware remover she linked me to, scanforfree.com, is a bloody malware program disguised as security program! I am going to file a report with the BBB -- no one should be paying for that God awful website! EDIT: A complaint has been filed with the BBB.
