Mr. Cog's comment is from 2009: go to the link he provides and see that the BBB rating is an A-. I like this site. The information supplied is helpful in research. They seem to have some issues with sales they have made but BBB does not list the total number of sales to complaints as others do, such as Ebay. Even the best companies have problems.
Allegations that unsafe drugs are approved
Some critics believe that the FDA has been too willing to overlook safety concerns in approving new drugs, and is slow to withdraw approved drugs once evidence shows them to be unsafe. Rezulin (troglitazone) and Vioxx (rofecoxib) are high-profile examples of drugs approved by the FDA which were later withdrawn from the market for posing unacceptable risks to patients.
Troglitazone is a diabetes drug that was also available abroad at the time the FDA approved it. Post-marketing safety data indicated that the drug had dangerous side-effects (in this case liver failure). The drug was pulled off that market in the UK in 1997, but was not withdrawn by the FDA until 2000, before which time it is claimed that thousands of Americans were injured or killed by the drug.[27] SO MUCH FOR YOUR FDA.
In the case of Vioxx, a pre-approval study indicated that a group taking the drug had four times the risk of heart attacks when compared to another group of patients taking another anti-inflammatory, naproxen.[28]
I have always been very happy with this site. The information here is well documented, and logically arranged! I especially love the way there are summaries for most articles in case I don't have the time to read the whole article initially!

It's so interesting to read the same comments over and over of disinformationists who are attempting to bring down holistic and alternative findings as non-scientific. Makes me think who is paying them to do this as the attack is on for many sites of this nature. The Big pharm has big money to deny the truth and call themselves 'scientific' when it's based in profit and power. I've read the mercola site for years and am grateful for his deep research. And of course, I use discernment in everything I read.
Wonderful site. Extremely informative! Has been very helpful in improving the quality of life and well being of my significant others as well as myself!
The big pharmaceutical companies want to make a big profit, so they try and tell people that natural healing doesn't work with supplements, organic food and Naturopathic doctors. They would lose a lot of money if you knew you could buy a bottle of supplements to help your condition for $10.00 bucks a bottle. Wouldn't it be nice not to have all those nasty side effects from prescription drugs?
Great site with lots of wonderful information on health; accurate; personally have followed and used much of this information; was referred to me by a medical consultant. Many have also consulted this site, referred by me and enjoyed the positive benefits of the advice.
Dr. Mercola has an informative website. I have used it frequently over the years. Some of his ideas are not compatible with mine, but he does give a lot of good information. His prices are high, but you can depend on the product being good. Or if your budget is limited you can easily find other good products for a lower price. If I'm researching something, I always check his website to get his input. As one good counselor advices you can chew the hay, just spit out the sticks.
Excellent site, Dr . Mercola has helped me and many people I know be more informed on many issues, esp. about how to maintain good health and prevent chronic disease.
This is NOT a scam site. Dont know why there seems to be a small surge of negative hateful comments. Maybe a set-up. It is a healthy thing top provide alternatives to conventional medicine. Just do what's right for you. Excellent site. Dr Mercola is highly respected.
