For those who point out that there needs to be more attention paid toward people who author comments about domain providers, I would certainly agree. For those who say that there needs to be better judgment on the IP addresses of the users who make the comments, I also agree, since maybe this whole taking matters out of check might be our time to take matters back into our own hands. Regardless, I might want to confirm the registrar's legitimacy before proceeding with any votes for content ratings, since after all, a registrar in most cases may only be responsible for the websites that it actually does have relations to and actually does work with in maintaining and offering content, even though I can certainly agree that domains owned by spam gangs like the Alex Polyakov group definitely do need to be nixed from all servers, due to people being snared by them so frequently. Maybe further investigation into Moniker might shed some light into these matters. From knowledge comes the smashing of controversy, as always!

Moniker is an internet domain registrar with no relationship to the domains registered through it. Are people giving Moniker an unsafe rating because a client of theirs has a worrisome site? Ludicrous! They aren't even a hosting service - they have NOTHING to do with what someone does with a domain. Marking Moniker's site as dangerous is like saying it's unsafe to go to the DMV office because there are bad drivers on the roads who got a license at the DMV. Sad to see an idea like WOT undermined by idiot raters. Bye-Bye WOT!

Very good customer service, the best (cheapest, fast, bulk transfer option) domain registrar I've found (MUCH better than GoDaddy, 1-1, Bluehost, or any others). Admin: check the IP address of bad comments here -- I'll be it's from jealous competitors.

5 days ago, I emailed this company about a bad site they were hosting and they still haven't replied to my email or taken the site down. the site in question is www.thenewyorktimesonline.net, which purports to be the New York Times and tries to promote another questionable Web site.
