It came pre-installed my new Dell PC. I used it for about 2 years. I was getting Virus every month and spyware everyday. It was lucky when they deleted my e-mails and I switched to Yahoo. It was a great improvement last 2 years 1 virus.
I have never had a problem with using MyWay.Com ,I find that the vast majority of spam,malware and really the majority of those problems come from poor surfing skills,such going into places where common sense would not take you,shark infested waters,dark ally's,other peoples files,and the list goes on and on.It is the same as the real world because it is a real world and has consequences for transgressors.Travel in peace not in pieces.:-}
Don't understand the "danger" here. This is a free e-mail site that's been around just as long as its better known competitors: hotmail, yahoo and much older than gmail. I've used it for over a decade. No viri, malware, spyware EVER. Their own email spam filter recently undewent a make-over that's excellent. Did I mention it's FREE? No customer service to speak of but Gmail.has none either.
I have been using a personal MyWay as my home page (my.myway.com) for years. I have had no problems. In addition to my normal antivirus, I also run Trend Micro's Housecall and Malwarebyte Anti-malware. I have no viruses and no spyware. I also run an antilogger.
In over 5 years of using MyWay email account I've had no problems using their services.Most spam and other problems are usually self generated because the sites a person visits and the information you give out to strangers.
Never did like the new email provider; too finicky and setup is prone to allow unintentional phishing success or allow downloading of malware with one's having to select an email to perform an action on it. Now, every time I check my email (ok, 7 out of 10 times), instead of refreshing my page, clicking Inbox SIGNS ME OUT COMPLETELY. This is not good; it's not user-friendly, and it's most DEFINITELY not confidence-inspiring.
Eh hem hem...
Where to start?
Well, first of all this is known as adware, malware or whatever. It is in fact also a rootkit that installs itself in to your core windows files. The 'Uninstall' tab is... well, fake.
Smiley Central and Zwinky are also known for malware. Like:

So, don't download this crap. I'm serious!
Have been using this site for a few years now. Since I've used Malwarebytes Antimalware rel-time protection sometimes some of the links advertised on ***** have been blocked by it, but the page itself opens every time. Its motto - "No banners. No popups. No kidding" - is a really true motto.
