What follows is my only issue, but it occurs for too often for me to ignore. The following example is copied from a mywot page; it shows a claim that a good rating is based on "user ratings" but it doesn't show any ratings or even the number of them. Compared to the colorful multi-graphic recommendation near the top of the page, the smaller, bland icon and plain-text disclaimer lower on the page, saying that the rating "has a low confidence" b/c "not many people have rated the site," is woefully inadequate. Suspicious? Yes! Reputation of ***** Reputation ratings and reviews are based on other users’ experiences. The site has a good reputation based on user ratings, and it is suitable for children. Other users consider this site trustworthy, and it has a good reputation based on user ratings. This reputation has a low confidence, which means not many people have rated the site.
