WOT is helpful, but not every rating and not all commentary on a website have to be right. You have to and you should think for yourself. WOT ist hilfreich, aber nicht jede Gesamtbewertung und alle Kommentare zu einer Website müssen richtig sein. Man muss und sollte selbst mitdenken.

Yes, AVG keeps having false positives on our site, most likely on the forum threads that discuss malware.

I do not believe I installed WOT. If it is a scam, then it will indicate at least some "bad" sites as being good, thus misleading the user. It claims to have been installed in August, 2014 but it is now November 2014 and this is the first time I've seen it in my toolbar.
