Strange to be rating WOT on WOT, but at least they don't hide from their own ratings. Not that they need to, because it's an excellent service. I've used it ever since I discovered it. I check the WOT rating 99% of the time I'm visiting a site I'm not familiar with, and often I'm glad I checked first.
Also, I've learned to check the WOT page even if it has a "green" rating -- often a site will have good ratings, but the user comments will show that the site is not safe or good to visit. Always double check.

Very useful. Only in some cases the judgement of the crowd misses the reality, particularly for racists' voices about minority media, or people discrediting a business that probably belongs to their competitor. But these are very few cases.

Very useful--however, the Ratings and Comments tend to be Subjective opinions, depending upon the Users' ethics and personal politics, as opposed to Objective truths.
A site might get a terrible rating simply because a person is a Liberal, and hates the Conservative website, or the person is a Conservative, and hates the Liberal website! That is not very helpful for someone such as me, looking for an Objective rating--not Subjective to one's personal views.
What about having a rating system set upon criteria such as the Entertainment Industries have: XXX, NR, R, NC-17, PG-13, PG, and G, along with descriptions such as Explicit Content, Family Friendly, Safe for All Ages, Violent Themes, et cetera?

Good site but I seriously question the trustworthiness of the owners. I have seen far to many mass rated websites and bad reviews to think otherwise.

This is the best security add on that i have ever used. it has blocked me from heaps of untrusted sites and i would definitely recommend it to other people
