mywot.comは安全ですか？

One of the most useless add-ons ever as the community here has an average age of most likely below 14. Many websites are rated bad incorrectly, even on child safety, which you can tell at one glance that they are safe -_-. Also most ratings are simply copied from freepcsecurity and similar sites, and I guess the people who copy the ratings are too busy with copying than they could check the websites they rate. I remember one website where freepcsecurity withdrew the bad rating, but that did't change anything on the rating here. I'm removing this add-on as using your reason and an anti-virus program will work much more reliable than this site.

I am very satisfied with this site it I originally was using for my girlfriend because she would just go to any site and download what they told her to so after a desktop that no longer works was replaced and WOT I feel safe letting her surf the web

The problem with WOT is that it allows users to mark politicians and political sites as not trustworthy. Not only is that pathetic that any user would do that, but unethical for WOT to allow this kind of irresponsible behavior from their users. It renders the ratings useless. Update: ***** Since Sami has conveniently made it impossible to reply, I will say this. I still disagree with you. You talk about "safety" but Obama's re-election site is fully green, this after he REQUIRES you to give a zip code. That is UNSAFE. Get a grip Sami. Your own website is not trustworthy at all.

This site has protected me many times over the last three years but I have found websites with red badges that didn't deserve them. As a person who surfs the internet a lot, WOT is great. As a site owner it sucks because one idiot can give you red badge with no explanation and there is nothing you can do to fix it as I just recently learned the hard way.

From what I have seen WOT is already owned by the vested interests on this planet. Anything it says should be ignored as it is just forwarding the lines of those interests in continuing to suppress the populations of Earth mainly for financial gain and illusions of power. Any group that is doing something effective to better the lot of Man and bring about some real freedom for Mankind are condemned by this site. It is like the mainstream press, it is just forwarding the lines of those who want to keep the populations of Earth in the dark. If you believe in Freedom, do not support this site.

(This is a revision of a previous post after receiving an explanatory email from a mywot.com administrator.) It's important to remember that a company's rating is only as good as the collective user experience. Because mywot.com does not monitor the ratings, take all ratings here with a grain of salt. A site can be easily blacklisted for no reason, which is what happened to my site. I learned of the blacklisting through a colleague who uses mywot.com; she told me my site had a poor reputation when she tried to visit it. When I checked it out, I could not find any objective, rational basis for the blacklisting. I checked the blacklister's recent activity on mywot.com and did some Internet research to learn that s/he had blacklisted numerous sites that day, as if s/he was randomly targeting web sites (who know there are people like this out there who may actually spend the entire day attempting to destroy site reputations without reason?). I reported the unsubstantiated blacklisting to mywot.com and the negative rating soon disappeared; a mywot.com administrator told me that the blacklister in question probably removed it after being contacted. This site has not been helpful to this user, and has resulted in the consumption of my valuable time trying to defend my site's reputation. Once your site is blacklisted, any visitor that has downloaded the mywot.com software cannot reach your site without going through a preemptory screen displaying: "Warning: This Site Has a Poor Reputation!" Bottom line here is that you cannot trust the validity of a site's rating on mywot.com without checking it out for yourself - it is merely rumor, not truth. To all site administrators out there, beware.
