Though this *might* still a good and useful site for determining if a site poses a risk through malware or political disinformation, the ratings system has been compromised and is subject to fraudulent ratings manipulation, i.e., farmed reviews, review gating and flooding of scorecard comments with farmed (paid) reviews for mostly sites pertaining to crypto, buying social media likes and certain scam online shopping sites. Site ownership is unresponsive and only promotes its add-on, which is irrelevant at this point since the site is dysfunctional. This site is untrustworthy.

The support service isn't working. They couldn't solve a SIMPLE (with an incorrect password) problem for a month. They talk about their good trust system, but it doesn't work. 1 user could write 6 similar (one to one) reviews, and THEY DIDN'T DELETE IT, even when you send these screenshots with obviously black PR. Support 0/10 Trust 0/10

We can't forget WOT offers a free service (community based) to protect us from scams. It's true they could have better ways to detect fraudulent ratings, but that's also true for any big services we use nowadays like amazon or ebay. I believe this is a great addon and a good tool to use to have a quick identification if the website you're visiting has any kind of problems.
