The ratings are bogus people. Do a search on Google and you'll see lots of problems with this company! There is absolutely NO WAY of reaching Betamax. I’ve had issues with free calls suddenly ending despite having sufficient minutes available. I’ve sent 4 or 5 trouble tickets and nobody has responded. Initially, after the first ticket I get an auto response stating that my ticket is received; however subsequent tickets or auto replies are ignored. It’s like my email is in their queue to avoid. I would recommend everyone to use their service for what it is: good for calls withnin Europe or Asia ONLY. I recommend paying by Credit Card. If you have problems, then dispute the charges with your CC company. Whatever you do, don’t use Pay Pal. Paying by CC hits them big time and maybe it’ll force them to clean up their act. God only knows where their servers are hiding but they know they’re doing something unethical.
