A lot of people think that North Star promotes reparative or conversion therapy. That is not true. They take no official position on elective therapy by consenting individuals, and they do not perform or promote such therapy. North Star affirms the position of the LDS Church on acting on homosexual attractions sexually, but does not condemn or hate anyone regardless of actions or lifestyle. Those who say this site is unsafe do so most likely because they misunderstand North Star's position, or disagree politically or philosophically with this approach.
