OMICS is well known for being the Nigerian Princes of the scientific publishing world. ***** These are predatory journals which are known to charge authors only after their papers are accepted, claiming association with prominent scientists without their consent or knowledge (e.g. claiming scientist X is editor of OMICS journal Y), and publishing papers with little to no peer review. They have even expanded into running conferences with suspiciously similar names to well-known and reputable conferences. Do not submit any of your work here for publishing and be very skeptical of any research published by this group.
