Survey Sampling International and all of their (many) survey sites are scams. Most surveys are broken. They will eventually ban your account, and refuse to pay you what you earned. They use these survey sites just to get the personal information of users before they ban you. It previously was legitimate, but not anymore.

Opinion Outpost is a scam; the moment you attempt to claim any reward they will immediately terminate your account. It exists as nothing more than a means of harvesting users for survey responses from which the site will profit and the users will not. Their customer "helpdesk" is seemingly automated to no other purpose than delaying and frustrating users into giving up. You will NEVER receive a single penny for any time or effort you put into the site, so do not bother, it's entirely fraudulent.

Given that Opinion Outpost has received a lot of attention from Twitter, Facebook, and various channels on YouTube, it is is safe to say that a fair number of people know about it. And when you deal with a site like that, it's easy to get caught up in the sway of believing it has no problems because you're favorite Youtuber said so. I cannot advise you to do so. First off, I would like to throw it out there that this is clearly the best surveying site out there. It's really nice if all you want is a nice bit of bonus cash on the side. It certainly won't make you rich, but it functions. However, it still does have it's fair share of problems. And given how long this website has been up and running, it is concerning that these problems have stuck around. Security is indeed an issue. There's the obvious detail that most surveys will ask you for your location, zip code, age, etc. But this is also due to the fact that Opinion Outpost clearly does not do much to check the validity of the surveys that they link you to. There are plenty of surveys that will take this information (information that in and of itself is completely irrelevant to most surveys), and then immediately say you disqualified. This produces concerns that they are simply looking to have your personal information without giving you anything in return. Second, there are plenty of websites that will give you a survey, have you answer almost all of the questions, then simply disqualify you before you can answer the last one because they don't want to pay you. The rate at which this has happened to me is alarming. This is especially annoying when you are going through a 30 minute survey, and are looking forward to your extra 25 points just to be cheated out of them. Lastly, there are surveys that will, for example, ask you your opinion on a TV show. If you do anything but say you are looking forward to it, they have the full ability to simply boot you out of the survey for no other reason than the fact that you told them something they didn't want to hear. When you put all of these possibilities together, you get various events that have happened to me about 75% of the time. Next, there's the email problem. Opinion Outpost will absolutely destroy your inbox with spam. At first, I thought I could simply unsubscribe from them. However, forfeiting the emails will forfeit the offers as a whole. If you do not let them plague your inbox, their service as a whole is non-functional. There are settings in your profile to have them send you less offers, but this again applies to surveys as a whole, not just the emails. Opinion Outpost has it's upsides. But it is also filled to the brim with a ton of eyebrow raising moments. On top of that, how much money to make in a given amount of time will vary highly. I've had days where I've gotten nearly a hundred points in day. I've also had days where I'm lucky to get 20. They have a quarterly lottery where one person can win 10,000 bucks, but your odds of winning are about as likely as grabbing a date with Selena Gomez. Whether or not you try this service is up to you. But while you are plenty safe on Opinion Outpost, the moment you're being linked to another website is the moment you need to keep an eye open. Because Opinion Outpost will not keep you safe or secure. You're on your own.

Great site. They no longer issue checks because of check fraud. But they now can pay money right to your paypal account or deposit money earned into your amazon account. Honestly, I've made hundreds in the few months I've been there. Best.... site... EVER!

its crazy how you're suppose to make points = money off sites like these where thye're constantly asking you the SAME personal "hitting close to home" questions its not a damn survey, IF you dont answer those kinda questions? you will have already spent 20 minutes just to be UNQUALIFIED... THEN as soon as you feel pist & robbed of precious time, they automatically give you a 30 minute survey which is more longer & even more neighbors next door questions, literally asking of your , bank, siblings ages martial status, address, where you work @ ? i thought SURVEY OPINIONS would ask about "what do you think about weed? or alcohol, school, life, icecream, which phone is better, should obama run 2nd term?" pshh dont get me started. this shit is stinky PHISHING
