They don't answer even PRO support requests. Send out editions different from those approved to promote their own Adsense links. Fail to include articles their customers have added. Refuse to refund disputed amounts, saying it's "digital goods!"

Questionable service. Not worth my time or trust. This "service" spams Twitter accounts. Received a notification from unknown Twitter user about me being mentioned in a tweet; this was not really true. Reality: paper.li gathers "news" and sends tweets on behalf of their users. Bad idea. Misleading. Confusing. Untrustworthy. Bad. Avoid.

not useful. many twitter users do use it. however, it basically spams random people on twitter with mentions, saying some sort of story from them is in the Paper Li paper published. Have gotten many of these mentions over the years while on twitter and typically no tweet of mine is in the paper at all. So, is twitter spam. Most of the content is pretty useless as well.

I HAVE ONLY HAD ONE SITE WOT THOUGHT SUSPICIOUS, WHEN IT REALLY DEPENDED ON THE PERSONS POINT OF VIEW. THE SITE WAS SAFE, IF YOU DIDN'T LIKE THE CONTENTS - CHANGE THE CHANNEL.

Quite a fun idea. Doesn't always load, though. I rated a bit lower on the child protection bit because not even the owner knows exactly what is going to appear on the paper.

I just got about the 4th or 5th mention by yet another of these paper.li newspapers, apparently triggered by a hashtag or other keyword. I googled the phenomenon and got this interesting article giving it a mixed review. Whether this site is useful or just adds to the online noise is an important question:
