Patently-O is one of the preeminent sources for legal news related to patents. It's author, Dennis Crouch is a well-respected law professor and legal commentator. Everything about this site is above-board, including conspicuous disclosure of contributors and sponsors. There are no topics for children. Any low rating given to this site by WOT is, IMHO, a reflection more on the ability of WOT to be gamed than a true rating of Patently-O.

This is a site that discusses patents and intellectual property. I have no idea why it would ever get a poor rating.

Patent Law Blog. This website is no longer listed in URIBL nor contains any evidence of malicious software or phishing. Presumably this previous blacklisting was an error or the result of a site venerability that has been corrected.

This is one of THE most respected US-based patent-law blogs (a/k/a blawgs) on the internet.
The notion that this is spam is ridiculous. Patent lawyers who care about the latest developments in the law don't ignore this site.
