PCmatic has saved my computer more times than I can count. Every Time I have a problem I have been able to fix it by running PCmatic. I tell all my friends to get this if they need help. It has removed adware that I could not get rid of, it increased the speed.and has kept me from downloading virus with supershield that came with the program. I have used this on my mothers computer also and now I do not have to go fix it for her, PCmatic takes care of it for me. Love it!

I have had PC Matic for a couple of years now, and I have not had any issues with it, unlike with other so-called registry cleaners and anti-virus software. It did what it says it was going to do, which was clean up my computer and properly defrag it and made it run faster. I'm happy with it.

My wife’s computer was starting up extremely slowly, it took forever to open a program, surfing the internet was very slow and it locked up when syncing iTunes with her iPhone. PC Matic corrected all of the slow issues, but it did not correct the iTunes sync. I later fixed that by manually updating the drivers on the machine. Does anybody know a good driver update software? Overall PC Matic kept me from replacing a very old machine. It is now very quick and was worth the money.

I installed a copy of PC Matic on a virtual machine running fresh install of Windows XP Pro SP3, just to see what would happen. My initial expectations of scareware were (much to my surprise) mostly subverted. However, it recommends "optimizing" my internet settings for various protocols, and the UI is absolutely jam-packed with generic-sounding "Fix now!" messages and weasel words promising "faster speeds" and the like. This all rang very suspicious to me, and my reservations were vindicated when I clicked "Fix all" only to be greeted by an ordering dialog for a $50 piece of software that made outlandish promises, backed by "download.com" and "Facebook" reviews. I also noted excessive network usage during the scanning process, even during sections that logically shouldn't require internet access. Overall: would not recommend. I couldn't find anything wrong with it per say, as I am not willing to shell out $50 to try the full software. However, the prevalence of weasel words and generic-sounding problem descriptions lead me to be very suspicious of the product as a whole.

I have used pcmatic on all my windows machines for years. It keeps them running smoothly and keeps all kinds of crap cleaned up in the background. Prior to that ***** has been my go to diagnostic to help identify problems with anyone's PC. It is well worth the $50 annual cost for up to 5 machines.

A coworker recommended this program to me b/c my pc was running incredibly slow. He spoke highly of their customer service and said this product was worth it. So yes, I did the trial scan as well as paid the $50 for the first year. So far, PC Matic does a great job streamlining all the slow processes and it made my computer run a good deal faster! It provides reports so you can see what needs to be fixed as well as how your computer ranks compared to others. I can assure you that it's not a scam.

Scam made for people who don't understand computers. They actively as seen here harass anyone who criticizes them. Any Amazon reviews against the software are instantly spammed and attacked. All this program will do is find fake problems and then charge you to fix them. And when the program messes up your computer good luck contacting anyone. Any reputable company would have an address and a phone number. They claim that it's better to do everything online but only for them. They aren't a proper company. If you want computer protection there are plenty of real companies out there don't fall for trash with a media student created commercial. Don't line the pockets of crooks selling scareware. I'm sure they will attack my post or just spam the same line about how they were certified safe by a bunch of made up groups.

Only the very naive would actually purchase this worthless software when there are many free, excellent alternatives to be found at many safe download sites...and those free anti malware, anti virus progrqams actually work to keep your computer free of malware and virus infections. PCMatic has the gall (and apparently a large TV ad budget to hook newbies) to 'find' many 'dangerous' infections such as harmless cookies and even calls the Bing Bar a danger. The Bing Bar is certainly aggravating and Windows Update and other programs download it, sometimes without your knowledge, but it can be easily removed by even a novice computer user. My advice: steer clear of this crapware.
