WPIX, virtual and VHF channel 11, is a CW-affiliated television station located in New York City, New York, United States. The station is owned by the Tribune Broadcasting subsidiary of Tribune Media. WPIX maintains studios and offices located at the Daily News Building, and its transmitter is located atop the Empire State Building in Midtown Manhattan. WPIX is also available as a regional superstation via satellite in the United States and Canada, and on cable television providers within the Northeastern United States. The station's signal is relayed on low-powered translator K35BR in Carlin, Nevada, which is owned by the Carlin TV District.
