The site poses as a place to unsubscribe your fax number from future "fax alerts." It is more likely to be a way to verify that your fax number is working and can receive spam. This makes your number more valuable and more likely to be resold to other spammers! Notice that there is no information about who owns the site and how they can be contacted. It's a fake.
