I tend to be careful before calling a piece of software Useless. Why? Because if it does perform any service near to what it is ascribed to perform with out being harmful it can't be considered useless. So far any of the so called FREE Registry Cleaners (That have all appeared to be the same piece of software as it turns out.) state that they do some cleaning of your registry then proceeded to run at start-up, run in the background and have no clear easy to find self remover. Al of them that I have tried have turned out to be a product of UniBlue. It would be cheaper, safer, and a heck of a lot more effective to use a registry cleaner provided by one of the popular Anti-Virus products even if they charge two or three times the price in order to get the use of their utility. It is simple for me to come to this conclusion because I know from experience how difficult and time consuming it is to clean a registry manually. Most people, even if they do know how to safely remove / change entries in their operating systems registry they do not have the time or patients to sit and hack at the registry through hundreds or thousands of errors.
