I feel myself more educated and a valuable member of the community, after I joined quora. Isn`t it great to share your knowledge and experience with others, being able to bring certain value to people`s life, at the same time, reading posts of others and broaden your own horizons. And it`s absolutely for free, just open an account, choose your interests, to be able to answer sofisticated questions

Oh, this one is my favorite. Instead of spending my free time watching Inst or FB reels, or reading same Reddit's countless arguments, it`s better to make your own construction or just enjoy other sophisticated opinions on various topics. It`s good when I spend my free time on opening new horizons or expanding my life perspective, seems like I`m becoming a zen master:) but it`s indeed true. The interface of the platform is pretty convenient, all I needed to do, is to choose topic that interests me and here we go, these interesting questions and answers will automatically pop up in my dashboard

Sometimes, it gets silly but only to the degree any human dialogue is silly. Quora throws wise opinions which you take by their worth without looking at the profile and its “authority” . Here your words are taken by their credit rather than credit of your social capital.

Some negatives first: Some people don't take the question seriously and others pretent to be fake gurus, so these are two main disadvantetges. The second category of these people should completely refrain from giving out any advice because it's rarely useful. The first is just rude and rasicst, I've seen some awful discussions under some hurtful photos, and these need to be moderated and taken under control. Good side of quora actually is in the answers of experts and those who know their stuff.

Huh, I used to write quite a lot on this platform. It`s very useful and interesting not just helping others, but also helping yourself, a lot of useful things I could learn in these years of use. The structure is done in a simple way, providing the question, where any expert or ordinary person can provide a valuable answer. Moderation is done pretty well there, so the content can be called sophisticated and straight on-topic. Some flaws are also there, maybe the platform lacks direct communication, like a forum, i don`t know or group, where the live discussion can be conducted.

In my opinion quora is overrated even though it's a nice place to get some interesting information on relevant questions. I don't really like that there are many pseudo experts in certain fields and they tend to answer questions. How do I know that they are pseudo experts? There are PhD guys who answer questions too. Answers are different and I would rather trust PhD guys :)

I was wondering if I would be able to find the coolest community of traders where we could discuss trading and financial markets. Then one of my old acquaintances recommended the Quora forum to me and told me that this is one of the best online forums where I can find a lot of useful information and community. I won’t lie he was right and to be honest I found a lot of interesting discussions there and it is cool that I can exchange opinions and ideas with other people who are also involved in the trading area. For example, everyone can ask any questions and other traders will always be there to help you with any issues. There are no strong disadvantages except that it was kind of incomprehensible to navigate around the website at first.
