Razer sells poorly made products at high prices. Has spotty customer service as they sometimes send back defective replacements. Synapse software has been known to interfere with other software or just break them outright. While its site is safe, its products are not. They even had their own Razer products malfunction during esports tournaments. In VOIP sessions, I've heard people's Razer headsets malfunction, mice malfunction, and keyboard malfunctions. I have had to do tech support to some of these people who own these products. I personally had a Razer Lycosa that broke within 7 days. There was a temporary workaround but that stopped working in another week. I also owned a Razer mouse pad that actually didn't break. Another thing is that they are trying to pass off an inferior mechanical keyboard switch as a superior one.

Having recently bought one of their mechanical keyboards I can testify that it truly is blazing fast. So far there are no problems at all. As far as the site it is very slick and maintains a dark with bursts of color theme- much like the backlit keyboards. There are a few minor issues with some of the in-site navigation and users should read the privacy policy in detail.

Overall good content and good software, but you are forced to download their tracking program (spyware) "Synapse" to use any of their services. From their Privacy Policy (http://www.razerzone.com/privacy-policy): "To use some of our Services or offerings, you must register to create an account, and during registration we will collect your email address and possibly other Personal Information. For example, Synapse 2.0 is our proprietary cloud based storage application (“Synapse 2.0”) that allows you to store your custom settings and Razer add-ons online in the Razer cloud. This Privacy Policy will at all times apply to any information collected from you as a result of your use of Synapse 2.0 or other Services or offerings that you sign up for." Be mindful when using their software.

They do not typically honor their 1 year warranty that comes with their products. My Razer Onza controller will wear down and have issues within 6 months, and it takes around 2 months to go through their RMA process. Eventually they will tell you to "cut the wire" (destroying the product) or pay to ship it to them..... It took me about 2 months to get a new one sent to me. It was ridiculous. Stick with Amazon for Returns.
