reachlocal.netは安全ですか？

We have seen at least one drive by malware involved with this site. It uses a wildcard domain where you see domains like urlwww--somesite--com.reachlocal.net. Not sure if the site also has a legitimate purpose in targeted ads but I can do with less ads anyway :)

This is not a host per-se. It is a DNSWCD (DNS WildCard Domain) clicker tracker that redirects you from one place (usually a bogus search site) to another web site. I am adding the following rule to my PAC filter for it: BadDomains[i++] = ".reachlocal.net"; // YOUR CHOICE DNSWCD Clicker-Tracker ***** They redirect you onto sites based on what your IP address is and you have very little to no control of where you are taken other than to just stop it. AFAIK, it does not lead to malware, but I haven't saw enough of it to know everything it does. I wished I had more information to help people determine whether they want the rule or not, This is the best I can do. The first host I saw in the domain was firstoptiononline33.reachlocal.net.
