Wotlover123, it's hard to take your comments seriously when you write using cellphone text lingo. Using words like dis and dat may seem cool to you, but using them makes you sound like an illiterate street hobo! I positively hate running into this stuff on the web. It's hard to read, and often makes no sense. If you want people to take you seriously, write with good, old-fashioned, PLAIN English!

Horrid. In the ads I saw, they used Sega's Sonic imagery to trick kids into installing their malware. Hard to believe this company is owned my the same guys who own ***** ***** and ***** ...surely they must make a lot of money out of their scams. They even have a website dedicated to their swanky New York HQ ***** Shame.

Adware providers

I downloaded Retrogamer.exe from this site and Malwarebytes said it was Adware.Iwon. It infected my computer!

Hi charight79, Despite the fact that Mindspark websites and associated software have been rated safe and secure by the leading online security companies and reputation organizations, there is misinformation that exists on the internet that can give the wrong impression of our products. On rare occasions it can cause legitimate security companies to incorrectly label Mindspark products as malicious. We work directly with the major security vendors—large and small—to prevent these “false positives” from occurring, and to quickly correct the misclassifications when they arise. However, some of the smaller, less advanced security software vendors still mistakenly label certain Mindspark products as adware or spyware due to lack of resources for comprehensive internal investigation or simply because they have not had the benefit of the same level of direct communication with us. We will continue to work to rectify this and make sure these companies have all the correct facts and information.
