Most of the free proxy servers are either unbearably slow, can't even be connected to in the first place, or are located in the home of the Great Firewall, China. Also, there are orange hyperlinks that are scattered throughout the pages of the proxy list that are labeled with things like "Don't Trust Free Proxies! Use Commercial Proxy!" and "Tired of slow free proxies? Get Paid Proxy!" The orange hyperlinks redirect you to ispconf.com, which is a scam site.
