***** has a green listing on McAfee SiteAdvisor now, and it's not clear why it ever had otherwise. Not too many pages within it accept e-mail addresses, they're optional when they are accepted, the option to keep them private is always presented, and even when they're designated to be public they're always obfuscated (and ***** shows that they've been being obfuscated for over a decade). I'm biased because I founded ***** back in early 1998, but really, the organization has maintained such a public anti-spam policy it's been targeted by spammers for denial-of-service attacks on two separate occasions.
