I was invited to this program when i was a sophomore in high school. i am returning as a alumni attendee this summer. This program is an amazing opportunity to hone your skills in the fields of science and technology and it is not fake or a scam. I received a letter in the mail apparently from Buzz Aldrin saying that I have been chosen to pay $985 to go to some seminar that will be 'very good looking on my college applications'. The signatures are clearly printed on it are the exact same ones throughout the entire document, I could even see the antialiasing on one of them. The envelope has a stamp for Canada despite the return address being Massachusettes. During further resarch online it apperars these are the same people who created the scam ***** (why .com for something 'so official'). Obviously this is not legit and I'm clearly not specially chosen to do this. Additionally, I was told in the letter I could email this lady in the area, turns out she doesn't exist in any phonebook anywhere near me. To summarize, this is a mail scam that is intended to make you feel special when you really are not.
