Stolen classified ads - Periodically I place ads on the local Craigslist, and occasionally also eBay Classifieds, for personal items I'm selling. The items sell - or they don't and I donate them - and I remove the ads. Then, months or even years later, I get a call about an item from someone who saw one of my ads on another site and is looking to buy it. I have to spend time apologizing to them for disappointing them, then I have to find the site and contact them to ask them to remove the ad - something I can't do myself because *I don't have an account there*; in fact, most of the time I've never even heard of the site. This is one of those sites; I found it by Googling my phone number. But this one is worse than the others because there is no way to contact them. I realize it's hard to compete with Craigslist but stealing their ads is not the way to do it.
