LINKSPAMMERS SPAMMED A LINK ADVERTISING THEIR SITE ON MY WEBSITE WITHOUT PERMISSION. EMAIL RECEIVED FROM THEM AFTER GOOGLE PENALIZED THEM: "Dear Sir/Madam, I am seeking your help to remove a link from your website that is pointing at mine. Following a recent update to Google's search engine, my site www.signatrol.com has received a penalty for an 'unnatural link profile'. This has caused a dramatic drop in traffic, so I am doing my best to sort it out! I have no idea which links are causing the problem, so I have to contact as many web site owners as I can to remove the link(s) that are pointing at my site. The link I would like you to remove is on this page: xxxx It is pointing to this web site: http://www.signatrol.com/ With the anchor text: (unverified) Failure to remove this link will mean I will have to submit this page as part of a 'Disavow link' report to Google. I just wouldn't want this to affect your site in any way or get it flagged for any reason.
