Beware of relying on the technology comparisons.
This sites compares technologies used on websites which it can crawl. It would be more useful if the limitations of this approach were clearly presented to readers. For example, it does not cover private websites so it underreports many technologies which are more popular for private use.

WoT is using this company to provide "See full technology profile of this site" widget on every scorecard, yet fails to do so on their own company. I find this untrustworthy of similartech.com and WoT.
Site headers and footers are of the same design as WoT. I suspect them to be bedfellows with WoT.
This company also fails to have an open WHOIS.

A website crawler that ignores robots.txt. Mine excludes all, yet this crawler still parsed through ~ 200 directories.
