This is a good site and a reputable software maker. Period. I've been using their software as a paid user for quite a few years.
Rating the site poorly because you think the software can be used in ways that should be illegal is incredibly stupid. By that standard, you should rate Opera.com, Mozilla.org, and ***** poorly, because they all offer web browsers, and hey, web browsers can be used to view child pornography and other disgusting things. If you are doing things you don't want observed, use encryption. Duh.
And malware? This is not malware. It is monitoring software, and some anti-malware software detects it as "potentially-unwanted" for that reason. Rating the site poorly for this is also stupid.
Don't be stupid.
This is messed up. Employers making sure their employees are actually working is one thing, but logging chat content? Spying on college students!? This /needs/ to be illegal.
I can see logging the fact that employees were chatting, but no one should have a right to read the actual log files even if it was at work. Logging chat files on a university, especially dorms is just sick.
