solarroadways.comは安全ですか？

I'm dumbfounded by the attacks against this site. It's perfectly safe and the company is legit. Just because they have their own site now, rather than just through Indiegogo? Seriously? A similar roadway system from a different company is already in place, and working better than expected, in the Netherlands. France is instituting yet another version from a third company. EcoWatch, a site with a "green" WOT rating, links to the site in an article on solar roadways. ADDENDUM: WOT for some reason not saving my ratings. I rate the site fully trustworthy.

Anyone who has tagged this as an untrustworthy site is only trying to act against the emerging field of solar energy. These guys have a great idea, have developed a great product, and are completely on the up and up. Their only fault is being ahead of their time.

This is a legitimate initiative trying to shoot for the moon, and I'm honestly surprised that this kind of thing hasn't been done before, as far as I'm aware. However, I'm not sure if this particular website was created by the actual Solar Roadways team, so I will rate it as "suspicious". The official Solar Roadways Indiegogo campaign is here: *****

The claims levied against this group are delivered with a great deal of showmanship and vitriol (EEV's video for example), but actually looking at the numbers indicates a rather less pessimistic outlook than they indicate. The scammers are those making overly dramatic negative videos to generate ad revenue, not these innovators.

In the long run will the tech work? I don't know. I like the general idea but everything has a first time and most inventions and new businesses fail. That is how the real world works. If this is a scam then so is every new business and invention. I find the attacks on it to be suspicious- and it is likely that many are being done either directly by the fossil-fuel industry or ditto-heads addicted to right-wing media- which itself is the mouthpiece of the fossil fuel industry.

This is merely a website explaining its vision about a technology that could make the world better. Really can't imagine any reason to distrust it - these people were even invited to the White House just yesterday (Maker Faire). The website may not currently be in a very modern design, but it's perfectly safe for anyone to visit.

Scott and Julie are trying to come up with solutions for our environment and economy. They are researching and testing this technology and using the money they have raised to make their design better and more practical. People give because they are ready for change and want to help to make this a viable product. This site outlines the idea they have, the steps they have taken, the research they have done so far and what their plans are for the future. It also explains the technology they are testing right now and ideas on other way they can use this technology to help people.

This is a new technology that is still being refined and has received two phases of funding from the Federal Highway Administration. As with any new technology, it could fail to get off the ground (or in this case onto the ground). Failure to launch does not constitute a scam.
