I do not make any public or private jokes about meat eaters, politicians, colored or foreigners any kind, lesbians, homosexuals, bassists (my brother is a bassist)...not even religous people, and I do not send any cards or ecards concerning they habits with mock etc. Why should we allow this kind of joke cards to be good, teaching anyone, like children to make fun of someones lifestyle? Some ratings made me wonder, could I send a Windows virus with them like phishing, malware or viruses, spam or something suspicious?

If someone was going to send me an E-Card (went out of style in the 90s), they wouldn't use the email I got the 'card' at. Also not sure why this company needs to use a URL shorten service for its unsubscribe link and to 'view' the card. Seems very fishy. Email servers are in China, company claims its in NY.

There is no spyware or spam problem on this useful and entertaining site! Not that I've encountered in the 2 year I've become a regular visitor, I don't know why people are blaming this site for what other sites also open in their browser simultaneously might be doing. Some cards are worded in a way that may move youngsters to ask embarrassing questions -- but there's nothing graphically depicted that's rated stronger than PG-13. Let kids make and send cards elsewhere. Adults can decide for themselves what they do or don't want to read/send. There's always Hallmark, Blue Mountain etc. for folks who don't share the site's sense of humor.

Site will spam the RECIPIENT of your cards! If you send someone a card from this site, you are signing THEM up for someecard.com's spam system. Someone I know sent me ONE birthday card from this site, and I have been fending off their weekly spam ever since. Removing yourself requires a full-on bidirectional email handshake that looks more like an attempt to verify the validity of the email you're trying to remove. Wonder why a spam website would want to verify your email address?
