They called us on my wife's cell phone. She doesn't give that number out to anyone. The caller claimed to be from Microsoft and that her computer had a virus. She gave me to phone and the caller had me check the Event log. I found nothing, but he claimed there was evidence of a virus. There was no evidence of a virus in the event log. Microsoft never calls customers. We are customers, but the software is registered in my name, my phone. I wouldn't go to the site with him on the line, but I got the address and hung up. I looked it up later and see that you have to log it. WHOIS shows this domain owners are anonymous.
