This tool is great (as is the original UBCD). Safe to use, although as another poster said, it is an intermediate to advanced tool. I've even had a police officer that was working at a job I was on recommend this tool, it is simply excellent.

For those who want PE style boot disks in Windows, as opposed to CLI, this is one of the best. Also has facility for multiple plugins to your custom boot disk as well as USB device support.

You can get a safe copy of ubcd4win by going to ubcd4win.com/downloads.htm and using one of the download links. Make sure you get the latest version (3.60 at the moment). By the way, UBCD4Win contains no malware if you use a trustworthy download link. Reports of malware in UBCD4Win are false positives. Help improve your antivirus by reporting the false positive to the test labs!

can somebody help me? when I download ubcd4win setup from any page, once it gets on my desktop, AVAST! 5.0 detects it as a shutdowner virus, if I restore it, my computer gets SO slow, and if i log out, BSOD!!! help me where can I get a safe copy?
