Went into a discount scheme with Unite, was not contacted at all about getting the discount to work on their site (so I doubt it does), couldn't cancel the agreement within the 14 days, was not sent any discount cards, terrible customer service, etc

I don't think they care as much as they say they do. I asked them for help to decide whether or not it was worth my time (and money) to join, and they completely ignored me. Stay away.

Workers have the right to stand up for themselves. Always remember that the services you take for granted are done on the back of someone and they are entitled to fair treatment.

This BA strike really needs to be broken. It isn't a dispute in which workers are trying to secure a decent wage from exploitative bosses but an overpaid and pampered workforce being exploited by union bosses who are fighting for a completely different agenda.
