I was subscribed to the membership during an event at my university as they offered free of cost for an year. But I never used them, and never checked the mail. Unfortunately, I missed the reminder emails about upgrading the membership and fees. They moved to the claim via court, and ended up paying a huge amount. It's indeed my mistake to ignore the mails, but at least they could have give me some reduction to the fine as I have never used the service. Better stay away from taking a membership, pretty useless with mostly spamming inbox, (that's how I missed the subscription extension notice mail). Or the least mention in the reminder mails subject "Important-notification-missed-we-will-move-to-court" something like that! The fine came after 3 years of subscription period! It was shocking and disappointing. At least life lessons learned, you should be careful when you sign somewhere.
