WatchSeries, one of those sites that lets you watch TV Shows and movies online for free. These sites are scattered around the internet, and many of them are not safe to use. WatchSeries is one of them. Here are my issues: Poor customer service: The site has a contact form and they say they will get back to you as soon as possible (Since the captcha was broken I used another site called watchseries.fm. a sock site of WatchSeries. Socks are not uncommon to see when it comes to illegal streaming sites like this). I requested some shows that I would like to see on the site and weeks later no response. I don't believe the contact form is legit, so... Misleading or unethical: The site has a "Guide" page, which tells you all about the site. There are a couple of stuff I would like to talk about here. They claim to "Watch Over Your Sleepless Nights Since 1997". Now, whilst that may not be true, it sounds really creepy, and this site has NOT been around since 1997. "we definitely don’t illegally host our files. That’s because we really value our freedom. However, we have a patient team who carefully searches every corner of the Internet in order to put all the episodes you want to watch in one place. Now, since we do not host the files, we can’t grant for 100% availability. But we do try hard to make it 95%. That’s really good, isn’t it?" - Well mate that's false advertising, isn't it, because the episodes are hosted on external sites like ***** and Streamango, and also, why on earth can you not be arsed to buy the rights off the respective owners? Pathetic. That means stuff are from DVD/TVRips. Piracy! "We know how annoying excess advertising is so we don’t spam our community! We need to support our servers and our team but we also respect you, so we try to keep advertising to a minimum amount." - Lies, lies, lies! This site is filled to the brim with NSFW ads and viruses. Stop lying, WatchSeries, just, stop! "as well as a short description of each episode." - Surprise, surprise, more lies, more lies! I've watched stuff on WatchSeries before and it does NOT show a short description of each episode! It just shows the description for the whole season: "Season 2 opens with Jamie building up friendship with Lara. The friends try best to get together" instead of "Jamie confesses his feelings to Lara". LIES LIES LIES! "When you go on the page with the episode, in 99% of the cases there is a video player. What you have to do is click the Play button, of course. If it does not work or you are given the wrong episode (Don’t be judgmental! Everybody makes mistakes!), just click on alternate video button. The backup video usually solves the issue. However in case it doesn’t, you can watch the episode by accessing one of the external links." WHY DO SITES DO THIS? YOU SAID YOU DON'T ILLEGALLY HOST YOUR FILES?!?!??!?! "When you go on an episode page you can easily see the Subscribe button (If you don’t, one of us has a big problem)." Well, at least this isn't a lie. Whilst a cool feature, every illegal site do this, according to my friend. Suspicious: Occasionally the site will redirect you to the home page for a VPN app. IDK why this happens but okay. Ads/Pop-ups/Adult Content: This site is filled to the brim with NSFW ads and viruses. That's all I have to say. This is also more false advertising as this site says that they don't spam their community and keep advertising to a minimum. Do I recommend WatchSeries? Not really. This site is a good site to watch shows for free but you may need to be aware of any viruses and any other dangerous stuff like that, since these are on most streaming sites. Just use an AdBlocker and you'll be okay. If you want to watch movies online free, try TubiTV. It's a great and legal way to watch films!
