Website runs scripts from a random IP (as far as I know, even if it is a fixed IP, it's NOT a domain-name, so looks like a security risk). Otherwise, if one refuses to run these scripts, major functionality of the site is broken. Also poorly-designed: dumbed-down (open everything in the one window, "do as we say, don't view our website how YOU, the paying customer, or YOU, the owner of your computer wishes"). There's a reason tabbed-browsing was invented, ignorant Waterstones web-designers... I want to make a shortlist of shops with the stock I want, by opening each one in a tab, then choosing one, based on precise geographic location (since the stupid site chooses a shop 200+ miles away - random - when I try searching by name instead of postcode - poorly designed AGAIN). I can't use the site the most efficient way that modern technology should allow (in fact, OLD technology, tabbed-browsing isn't modern). Pathetic. Javascript is not some sort of perfect solution, or save-all messiah, muppet web designers! Don't send Javascript to do normal HTML's job, and vice versa! NEVER send Flash to do normal HTML's job, either. But (due to the inefficient banking system squeezing everyone not at the top of the pyramid scheme) people want the money for the job, not the pride and name for themselves - so who cares if the web design is done right? In this world, avoiding ALL kinds of suffering (including this admittedly minor annoyance) requires rejection of scam-schemes, not submission to them... Do your part.
