It is a very interesting list of terrible websites that gives good lessons on website design. The problem is that unless users understand tools like NoScript some of the sites can actually be dangerous- and the author does nothing to warn about such risks- hence the downgrade.

This website run by Vincent Flanders, is a very useful and potentially entertaining blog, in which he will list examples of bad web design submitted to him (sometimes he finds them himself) with different pointers on your way ta designing a good website, so I shall recommend! (Infact, he uses WoT's plugin )

This site has a ton of information - about how websites have gone terribly wrong. You can learn a lot from studying the mistakes others have made. There are a lot of ads - just be careful where you click. Also, some of these "awful" sites contain horrible amounts of spam and exploits - so again - be careful where you travel to when you leave the safety of this site.
